This means I ache and I cramp. IYKYK. I love running and I love the entire training process. But, I’ve definitely learned the importance of recovery, including muscle and joint management. This roll on has been a huge help with this. I use Mons Pura before and after every training session, and it has been a huge game-changer for me. It’s strong…like, really strong. I also love that it’s not greasy. It’s more a like a “liquidy lotion.”

Here's how I normally use it. I apply to my calves, quads, and hamstrings about 20 minutes before my run. Sometimes, if my shoulders and back are tight or sore, I’ll apply it there, as well. Then, immediately after my cool down, I apply it to the same areas. I don’t every rub it in. I just let it soak in on its own.

It has helped a ton. I haven’t had a cramp since using this product. Not one! Funny story (well, funny now) – my running mentor, Lexi, and I had just finished a marathon. We were talking to friends and family when, all of a sudden, she goes to the ground writhing in pain. Her leg was having massive cramps, and she couldn’t get them to settle. There was a huge crowd around her, many people trying to help. I yelled to my husband, “Roll on! Where’s the roll on!?” He ran it over and started rolling it all over her cramping leg. I can’t tell you exactly how many minutes it took for her cramps to go away, but it wasn’t very many. It worked fast.

If you ask me how it feels – I’d say it feels really, really cool, then really warm inside my muscles. It makes me feel more mobile, as well – a loosening affect. I start to feel the cooling effect within 3-5 minutes. Then, I start to feel the warming ingredients soak in after about 6-7 minutes.
